Much like the kingdom of Westeros, the college union can sometimes feel like its employees are singing a song of fire and ice. In this session, you will learn the importance of creating harmony between facilities and programming, as well as strategies to foster a collaborative working relationship between the two areas.

About the presenters:
Victoria Culver Rice is the assistant director of student engagement for programs at Missouri State University. Her responsibilities include acting as advisor to the Student Activities Council, Traditions Council, and Homecoming Committee. She has a B.S. in mathematics and a B.S. in psychology, both from Missouri State University, and an M.S. in higher education and student affairs from Indiana University.

DJ Fox is the assistant director for facilities and operations at Missouri State University's Plaster Student Union. His responsibilities include maintaining the physical elements of the Plaster Student Union, and supervising building managers as well as custodial, maintenance, and audio/visual student workers. He has a B.S. in broadcast media and an M.A. in college student personnel administration, both from the University of Central Missouri.
